Special features

The housing has an elaborate paint finish. The metallic gray color scheme is reminiscent of aspahalt, and is thus completely in your element - on the road.

The unique surface structure, a combination of design and functionality, provides excellent grip.

With the "Full Press Snap" function, you can now also use the touchscreen control to instantly shoot at a preset distance. This quick capture function allows you to capture your shot at the perfect moment.  

In keeping with the body design, the Street Edition features a special shut-off graphic with a special logo.

The new RICOH GR III, currently under development, continues the basic concept of the GR series. In the usual compact housing the main components are completely renewed. Thus, for a new sensor, there is also a newly calculated lens and a new processor to be able to process the larger amounts of data.

The new 24 MP APS-C CMOS sensor is the special highlight. It is mounted on movable bearings and thus provides the basis for 3-axis image stabilization, which is also the prerequisite for the new Dust Removall II sensor cleaning function. With these innovations, a new level of quality for image and operation is achieved.

In addition, the RICOH GR III also offers proven functions. Especially the presets for film simulation, with the option to use different filters already during shooting, offers many possibilities to the photographer's creativity. In addition to black-and-white and monochrome (in various effects), positive film, portrait, vivid or luminous, a total of 12 presets are offered for film simulation, 2 of which can be customized.

In addition, more than 12 image options are offered, such as film grain or various contrast presets. But also the proven macro mode, now already with a closest focusing distance from 6 mm, or the digital focal lengths of 35 mm or 50 mm significantly expand the possibilities of the small reportage camera. Accessories such as attachable viewfinders or filter adapters with lens hoods will continue to be available for the new RICOH GR III.
