The FUJINON XF 16-80mm F4 R OIS WR offers a minimum shooting distance of 35 cm over the entire zoom range (maximum magnification of 0.25x). It weighs just 440 grams, about 40 percent lighter than a comparable lens for a 35mm system. It is also very compact with a length of 88.9 mm and a diameter of 78.3 mm.

When the lens is used on a FUJIFILM X-T3, the combination weighs only 979 grams. In combination with a FUJIFILM X-T30, the weight is even as low as 823 grams. Because of its versatility, compact size and light weight, the XF16-80mm is thus also an ideal travel lens.

Powerful and fast

The XF16-80mmF4 R OIS WR is a 5x universal zoom lens that consists of 16 lens elements in 12 groups. This includes three aspherical lens elements and one ED aspherical lens. The lens design ensures uniformly high imaging performance from the center to the edges, as well as effective minimization of aberrations.

The new zoom lens features an optical image stabilization system that allows for shutter speeds up to 6 EV stops slower. This allows the lens to be used in a wide range of situations, including difficult lighting conditions. The photographer does not have to worry about possible camera shake.

In addition, the FUJINON XF16-80mm features particularly fast, precise and quiet internal focusing controlled by a powerful stepper motor.

Weatherproof

The design and feel of the lens emphasize the premium quality and durability of the product. Zoom, iris and focus rings provide optimal ease of use.

The lens is splash-proof as well as dust-proof and is ready for use even in temperatures as low as minus ten degrees Celsius. In conjunction with a FUJIFILM camera body that is also weather sealed (e.g. X-Pro2, X-T1/T2/T3 or X-H1), photographers can use it to shoot without worry even in light rain and dusty environments.
