With a speed of F1.4, the 35mm XF lens (KB equivalent: 53mm) is ideal for shooting in difficult lighting conditions. The lens features ED glass lenses and other advanced lens elements, with surfaces that have been meticulously polished and treated with Super EBC coating. The high-quality metal body is equipped with a precision-machined aperture ring that allows intuitive adjustment of aperture values in 1/3 stops. The special design of the aperture blades allows an excellent blur effect to be achieved. The blades are curved, resulting in an approximately round circular aperture at all aperture settings. The edges of the blades have been rounded, which contributes to a sharper image. The FUJIFILM X bayonet takes full advantage of a mirrorless design. The short flange focal distance of only 17.7 mm enables high resolution performance over the entire image area.
