The RF 24-240mm's wide-angle focal length of 24mm is suitable for group shots, landscape and urban photography, and the 240mm telephoto focal length makes it possible to shoot sporting events, wildlife and people over medium-long distances. Via the diamond-knurled focus/control ring and the large, lockable, 100° rotating zoom ring, the RF 24-240mm can be controlled directly and precisely to bring beautiful and interesting subjects into focus. The large diameter and short focal length of the RF bayonet allowed the lens to be designed with large back elements for maximum image quality.

High image quality thanks to AF and stabilization

As the first full-frame lens with Dynamic IS, the RF 24-240mm IS USM offers a 5-stop image stabilizer. This allows photographers to achieve tremendous image stability during handheld shooting even at longer exposure times. This key feature enables sharp images even in low-light conditions, as well as stable video recording. Nano-USM autofocus, a combination of the advantages of STM and ring-USM technology, lets the lens shoot quickly, smoothly and quietly.
