With a diagonal angle of view of 104°, a tilt angle of ±6.5°, a pan range of ±12 mm and a rotation angle of ±90° for tilt and swivel, the TS-E 17 mm 1:4L is a particularly versatile lens in its class. Practical click stops ensure that the selected tilt and pan settings are not accidentally adjusted.

Pure precision

A large-diameter, high-precision aspherical pressed-glass lens ensures high resolution right to the edge with minimized image distortion. Four UD lenses correct those chromatic aberrations that often occur when shooting with a wide-angle lens. With these qualities, the lens is predestined for architectural photography.
