Reliable external flash trigger

Triggers compatible Canon flash units from up to 30 meters away. The 2.4 GHz radio frequency works reliably, even around corners or where objects are in the way - radio transmission eliminates the previously required line-of-sight contact.

Work with multiple flashes

Ideal for demanding setups with multiple flash units. For example, one ST-E3-RT mounted on a camera can trigger up to 15 flash units. E-TTL II flash metering provides easy exposure control.

Camera remote trigger

An EOS camera equipped with a Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT can be remotely triggered by another camera equipped with such a transmitter or a compatible Speedlite, such as the Speedlite 600EX-RT. Up to 15 cameras can be triggered together in this way.

Convenient operation

The Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT is protected against dust and moisture - to the same extent as the professional EOS L-series cameras and lenses. An easy-to-read, illuminated LC display serves as the control screen and power is supplied either by two AA AA cells or LR6 rechargeable batteries.
