The second-generation FTZ II bayonet adapter makes it easier than ever to use an F bayonet lens with your Nikon Z camera. The improved ergonomics provide plenty of room for comfortable finger positioning when shooting in a vertical position - even with gloves on. No matter which F bayonet lens you use - there is no loss in image quality. NIKKOR lenses without image stabilizer (VR) reach a new level of sharpness.*

* The FTZ II bayonet adapter works with a total of approximately 360 F bayonet lenses, 90 of which are AF-S, AF-P or AF-I type with full AF/AE capability.

Sharper than ever

Auto Exposure Control is available for hundreds of F-bayonet lenses. And F-bayonet lenses with built-in AF drive retain full AF compatibility.*

* Full AF/AE tracking is supported when using FX or DX teleconverters of the AF-S G/D/E, AF-P G/E, AF-I D and AF-S/AF-I type.

Shake-free like never before

When using a lens with built-in image stabilizer (VR), lens-based detection of tilt and pan is complemented by camera-based detection of roll, which is the twisting against the optical axis. When shooting with an F bayonet lens without VR, all types of camera shake - tilt, pan and roll - are compensated for by the camera.

Right in the middle

With rubber seals on the connections to the camera and lens, as well as on all buttons and switches, the adapter is elaborately protected against dust and splash water. With its robust but lightweight aluminum alloy tube, it can be used in any environment.
