The Z 9 supports any workflow. The dual memory card slot can accommodate Type B CFExpress cards. This provides twice the write speed of cameras that use Type A cards. Perfect for ultra-high-speed shooting or recording 8K movies. The camera's internal GPS records UTC timestamps in the image data. Advanced network options let you handle large files with ease. Remote production made easy

Synchronized remote triggering and sending feeds between a master Z-9 and a range of remote cameras is seamless. You can also synchronize time to quickly review critical moments after the fact, and perfect audio and video synchronization on the target server.

FTP - synchronized with your workflow

Delivered directly from the field. With the Z 9's in-camera Wi-Fi, images can be transferred directly to an FTP server, without a separate wireless transmitter. Where PCs are forbidden, you can connect your Z 9 to a 5G smartphone via USB.

Record-breaking network speed

When you connect via a network cable, the Z 9 transfers images directly to a PC or FTP server - at unparalleled speed. The camera's wired LAN supports the 1000BASE-T standard, and all connection options can be controlled from a single tab in the menu.

Excellent 8K movies - right in the camera

With the incredible imaging performance of the Z 9, you can record excellent full-frame 8K movies and time-lapse movies in-camera. You can shoot hours of 8K footage at 30p - or use a firmware update and shoot RAW 8K movies at an especially smooth 60p.⁶ AF, including eye AF and metering, are fully supported while shooting. Files are wonderfully clear and Nikon's new N-RAW format keeps file sizes manageable.
